Recently NJ.COM did a story on the lack of potential life saving signs posted at popular Bayonne crabbing spots. The signs warn citizens of the potential cancer risk that comes with eating blue crabs from the Kill Van Kull and Newark Bay. In a statement from the city, Jeff Meyer, the city spokesman said “we don’t have jurisdiction.” In a case like this, do you think the city should point the finger, or take action?
